Emerita Professor Christie Brown is included in this group exhibition at Messums West in Wiltshire, which offers insight into the relationship between two- and three-dimensional practice. This is an area of constant interest to the artist as she has recently developed her many years of life drawing to explore narrative composition that connects to her three-dimensional clay sculpture. The show features drawings from several artists including John Davies, Elisabeth Frink, Lawrence Edwards, Emily Young and Carlos Zapata, and runs in conjunction with the key exhibition at Messums West titled ‘Presence: The Figure in British Postwar and Contemporary Sculpture’ which also features works by Christie Brown.
