Throughout 2024, the University of Westminster and The Photographers’ Gallery will collaborate to invite various artists and photographers who create or write about photography to challenge visual representation within socially oriented practices and to explore the impact of their work within broader discourses.
Our opening Photography Forum event will be with artist and researcher, Will Lakin who is an artist and researcher working with photography, text and sculpture, his work has been exhibited and published internationally. He is currently undertaking a practice-centred PhD on the world-building practices of online conspiracy communities, focussing on the functions of, and motivations behind engaging with online disinformation.
