Through mesmerising instrumental music and song. Women of the Windrush portrays inspirational narratives from the lives of a variety of women who migrated to the UK from the West Indies during the so-called Windrush period of late 1940s to early 1970s.

The concept, music and text is composed and arranged by outstanding British Composer Shirley J Thompson OBE and features soprano Nadine Benjamin, pianist Allyson Devenish, and Shirley J, Thompson on violin.
