Our first forum of 2025 will be Jermaine Francis a London based lens-based artist/ photographer  who explores physical, historical, psychological negotiations of space, through issues of class, power, race.

His work has been exhibited widely, including, ICP New York, The National Portrait Gallery London, Haus Wien Austria, Galerie, Centre of British Photography London, The Saatchi Gallery London, The Camden Arts Centre, Peckham 24. Jermaine was nominated for the Foam Paul Huf Award 2024.

His work can also be seen in the upcoming show ‘JW Turner and changing visions of landscape’ at Norwich Castle Museum and Art Gallery. He is currently associate Lecturer in MA media studies at the Royal College Art, MA Documentary Photography at LCC, and BA Fashion Communications Central St Martins School of Design

Jermaine has published three books ‘Something that Seems so Familiar becomes distant’,  ‘Rhythms from the Metroplex’, and just released, ‘A Post-Industrial Dreamscape 0/ii’ published by Herepress.
