William Saunders
Will Saunders has developed a practice-led exploration into what he has seen as the queer compositionism of American composer and instrument builder Harry Partch. The project is traced through Saunders‘ hauntological approach when contributing musically to experimental theatre works and, specifically, his improvised performances with musicians Sarah Kenchington and Anna Homler. The video documentation shows Kenchington and Saunders performing together in June 2017 at the Centre for Contemporary Art, Glasgow. This was a key stage in Saunder‘s research at CREAM and he is currently writing up the intricate process that led to it.
